What we look for
Non-fiction on economics, technology, society. With a voice of its own, a clear stance, an argument that still holds up three years later. We are looking for manuscripts between 200 and 500 pages that have something to say which would not fit into a magazine article.
What we don't look for
Classic advice books. Memoirs without a larger argument. Fiction. Non-fiction on topics we already cover with another title. Manuscripts chasing trends.
What we offer
Careful editorial work, five editions per title (Hardcover Standard, Hardcover Limited Edition, Paperback, eBook, Audiobook), active press work, mediation of readings, royalties at industry standard. We talk to our authors as peers.
How to submit
Through the form on this page. You upload:
- Synopsis (1 to 2 pages)
- Table of contents with chapter descriptions
- Manuscript excerpt (20 to 50 pages)
- Short bio
Optional but welcome: market analysis, comparable titles, target audience description.
Response times
We respond within eight weeks. If we are interested in a publishing contract, we invite you for an in-person meeting in Berlin.
